Creative Stratagies
My goal in this project was to create a new design for each of the creative strategies. The object I chose to design with was a water bottle. The following are the seven creative strategies I will design.

Combinations:
Bringing two objects together to make something new.

Juxtaposition:
The bringing of two things together with an effect of seeing the difference between each.

Isolation:
Placing one object that stnads out the most in an image, where it is the ceneter of attention..

Metaphor or Simile:
Applying a meaning to something that doesn’t normally mean that. Giving something another meaning from its original meaning.

Change of Context/Environment:
Bringing something into a different setting to change the context or view of the object or scene.

Physical/Shape Similarity:
Being able to see, or create, physical representiation by not using the main original object.

Material Change/Swap/Focus:
To change the physical material of the object to convey another idea or thought. .
Design Process
Before I could begin creating designs for these creative strategies, I first had to come up with some ideas. I began by creating a mind map to generate some ideas to lead me. With some direction I could then create some sketches. Once I had many sketches I chose my favorites and expanded on them as I created them into digital rouge drafts.
Final Designs
With sketches and rough drafts done it was time to edit further and create a fianl design for each creative stratagy.
